The site was created and is maintained by Shafatullah, a 21-year-old developer from Pakistan who believes good tooling should be free and accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Hi, I'm Shafatullah — a 21-year-old developer from Pakistan. I spend most of my time building for the web: interfaces, utilities, and small tools that solve real, everyday problems. BConvert started with a simple frustration — converting files online meant uploading them to someone else's server, waiting, and hoping your data stayed private.
So I built BConvert: one fast, clean website where anyone can convert files without creating an account or handing over data. Everything happens locally in your browser — your PDFs, images and documents are never transmitted anywhere.
Why free, and why browser-only?
Two principles guide every converter on BConvert. First: free means free — no paywalls, no premium tiers, no feature gates. If a converter is listed here, the whole converter is yours to use, as much as you want.
Second: your data stays yours. Most online converters upload your files to a server. BConvert converters do all their work locally in your browser using JavaScript — your PDFs, images and files are never transmitted anywhere. That is not just a privacy feature; it also makes conversions fast, since there is no upload or waiting room.
