Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026. This Privacy Policy explains how BConvert ("we", "our") handles information when you use this website. In short: we collect as little as possible, and the tools themselves process everything locally in your browser.

If you have questions about this policy, contact us via the contact page.

1. Local-only processing

Every tool on BConvert runs entirely in your web browser using JavaScript. Files you select (PDFs, images), text you type or paste (code, passwords, personal data) and anything you generate are processed on your own device. Nothing you enter into a tool is uploaded to our servers, because there are no tool servers — we do not receive, store or see your tool inputs or outputs.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not require accounts, so we do not collect names, email addresses or passwords. We do not build profiles, we do not track you across the web, and we do not sell personal information — there is nothing to sell.

3. Cookies and advertising

BConvert may display advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads). Alternatively, you can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info/choices.

We may also use a small number of strictly functional, first-party preferences stored in your browser (such as a theme choice), which never leave your device.

4. Third-party libraries and CDNs

Some tools load open-source JavaScript libraries from public content delivery networks (for example, PDF rendering, PDF generation and QR code libraries served from cdnjs). When your browser fetches these files, the CDN provider may receive standard technical information such as your IP address and user agent, governed by that provider's own privacy policy. These libraries run locally after loading; they do not send your tool data anywhere.

5. Analytics and logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-term server logs (such as requested URLs and error records) for security and reliability. We do not currently run third-party analytics that identify you.

6. Data retention

Because tool inputs never reach us, there is nothing to retain or delete on our side. Anything stored in your own browser (such as a theme preference) can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

7. Children

BConvert is a general-purpose developer resource and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest revision, and continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
